To act as the public voice and provide leadership in the protection and promotion of Filipino inventors and their inventions, scientific work, creative research, technologies, innovations, utility models, industrial designs, and other intellectual property rights and interests.

To establish a unified front advocating for major legislative initiatives and to monitor the enforcement of laws beneficial to Filipino inventors, including Republic Act No. 7459, its implementing rules and regulations, and Department of Justice Opinion No. 66.

To offer a venue for mutual consultation, professional information exchange, and assistance on matters concerning intellectual property, commercialization, manufacturing, and other common interests of inventors.

To foster and support the economic advancement of Filipino inventors and their innovations through the rational use of indigenous resources.

To maintain close liaison and collaborative relationships with appropriate government agencies, private sector entities, and regional and international inventors’ organizations.
